This report shows that only a quarter of new car dealerships are selling parts online, highlighting the opportunity for new car dealers to generate new revenue with parts eCommerce,\u201d says Ibrahim Mesbah, CEO of RevolutionParts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The nationwide survey, conducted in Q4 of 2022, provides valuable information for dealers and their parts departments. With this information, they are better positioned to create new goals and strategies to drive revenue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The report also found that:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.19.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;|||43px|false|false&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23% of dealers are implementing marketing strategies for their parts department<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">66% of General Managers saw selling parts online as an important strategy<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">43% of Parts Managers were concerned about the rise in EV sales\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">45% of parts departments are experiencing a staffing shortage<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.19.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The online parts market totaled $19.2B in revenue for 2022 and is expected to reach $35B by 2030, underscoring the growing demand for parts eCommerce. Respondents to this survey state that selling parts online is an important strategy for driving revenue.
